Dawn Foods has launched a new marketing campaign focused on Easter as a sales opportunity for bakers.
The Easter-themed drive will include exclusive recipes and a series of how-to videos, giving bakers step-by-step instructions on creating products such as Easter Bunny Butt Donuts, Chocolate Surprise Cake and Golden Egg Carrot Cake.
Running until 26 April, the campaign is targeted at professional bakers and caterers. Also available will be insights on Easter traditions from chef, author and broadcaster Gerard Baker, who has partnered with Dawn for its 2019 Bakes for All Seasons campaign.
Dawn will also be promoting offers and giveaways on some ingredients, and the chance to enter a competition to win a weekend trip for two to Amsterdam that includes a creative bakery workshop at Dawn’s new Innovation Centre. Dawn is also running a prize draw to win a bakery course for two to be held in the UK, bakers’ toolkits and high street shopping vouchers.
“Holiday celebrations such as Easter provide bakers with a huge opportunity to get creative and increase sales,” said Dawn Foods UK and Ireland marketing manager Jacqui Passmore.
“Dawn’s Easter campaign has been developed to give bakers inspiration, from new and exciting recipe ideas and historical insights from Gerard Baker through to free giveaways.”
The activity is part of Dawn’s year-long Bakes for All Seasons campaign, designed to give bakers and caterers insights into the history and traditions behind the UK’s favourite bakes at national celebrations such as Easter, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and Christmas.
