Warburtons has developed an interactive area on its dedicated Facebook page to help consumers learn more about their fibre intake.
The new Fibre Provider hub was created in response to a survey commissioned by the bread manufacturer and conducted by survey specialist Censuswide, revealing four in 10 people needed help and advice about increasing their fibre intake.
The Facebook app includes informative tips from TV medical expert Dr Hillary Jones, along with recipes high in fibre and wholegrain created by nutritionist Fiona Hunter, and product information to help online users understand the Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) for fibre.
Other features of the Fibre Provider hub include an online test where users must answer a series of questions about fibre to enter a prize draw and be in with a chance of winning a family activity holiday for four people.
Warburtons has created the new online information space as part of an extensive marketing drive to raise the awareness of the nutritional benefits in bread.
