Pophams Bakery is set to open its second store, on Richmond Road, Hackney.
The 1,710 sq ft ground floor unit, which neighbours London Fields, has been secured by property agency Shelley Sandzer on behalf of Pophams.
Due to open in the first week of June, the new location will expand upon Pophams’ existing offer at its Islington site, with the inclusion of a new dinner service offering fresh artisan pasta.
The premises will have space for 45 covers, including space for diners to sit at a chef’s table to watch baked goods and fresh pasta being made.
“It is with great pleasure that we can reveal the location for our second artisan bakery, which heralds the exciting evolution of our concept,” said Ollie Gold, founding director at Pophams Bakery.
“Since the opening of our first shop, which we developed from a derelict chemist, we’ve taken a hands-on approach with all aspects of the business and this has helped us go from strength to strength. We are excited to be joining such a fantastic community of artisan bakeries based in Hackney, such as E5 Bakehouse, Violet and Dusty Knuckle.”
