International bakery consultancies BakeTran and BakeryLogic have announced plans to collaborate.
The agreement, which will focus on new product and process development, will operate on a project-by-project basis where the skills of both consultancies can be used to deliver results for clients.
The consultancies will work from concept through to final product, and will offer clients launch support.
BakeTran is a global baking and milling consultancy founded by Stan Cauvain and supported by Rosie Clark.
BakeryLogic was created in 2016 by Mark Borland and Jason Frankland, who both have more than 25 years’ experience in baking, much of it gained with Warburtons.
“This is the first collaboration of its kind. Our confidential services will offer technical expertise that we believe will be unrivalled in the industry. It is based on a deep knowledge of baking and cereal technologies, combined with an ability to deliver practical and cost-effective bakery solutions,” Cauvain told British Baker.
Borland added: “The projects our companies are working on are increasingly technically complex, so it makes sense to pool our collective resources in specific areas.”
