Warburtons has partnered with a business school to launch a new management degree apprenticeship scheme.
The bakery will select two individuals to complete the new apprenticeship, paying their tuition fees and a “competitive starting salary” that will rise each year of the four-year scheme.
Based at Warburtons’ Enfield Bakery, students will complete a two-year degree in business management, and get management experience as either a bakery team leader or a driver operations team leader.
Apprentices will work across a range of different functions and teams, including Manufacturing, Plant & Engineering, Warehousing, Distribution, Quality & Technical and Health & Safety.
The job role will start in October 2019 and the degree will begin in January 2020.
Warburtons has partnered with Pearson Business School, part of Pearson College London, to develop the apprenticeships. The school has already delivered other apprenticeships for leading organisations, including the Moët Degree Apprenticeship, L’Oréal Degree Apprenticeship, BBC Degree Apprenticeship and Mondelēz Degree Apprenticeship.
