Burton’s Biscuit Company has launched Jammie Dodgers in an exclusive snack pack range, following the launch of this year’s ‘Best Ever Recipe’.
The 13g snack product will launch in Tesco this month and contains eight twin-wrapped biscuits in each pack.
It comes in a carton format, with front-facing, shelf-ready packaging aiming for a strong shelf standout.
Burton’s head of category and shopper management David Costello said: “Portion control is increasingly important for shoppers, especially among parents looking for more convenient and permissible biscuit treats for children, for both in and out of the home.
“New snack-size Jammie Dodgers are ideal for between meals, enabling parents to control how many biscuits their children eat, thanks to the individual portions. They are also a more permissible alternative to many other children’s individually-wrapped biscuits due to a lower sugar, fat and calorie content per gram.”
Burton’s Biscuit Company is a branded and own-label supplier of quality biscuits and snacks. It is one of the largest biscuit suppliers in the UK, producing market-leading brands such as Maryland Cookies, Jammie Dodgers, Wagon Wheels and Fish ‘n’ Chips.
Earlier this month, planning permission was granted for almost 300 new homes to be built on a former Burton’s biscuit factory site.
