British Baker is thrilled to reveal that the celebrity host for the 2025 Baking Industry Awards is beloved prime time television host Alex Jones.
Co-host of the BBC’s flagship show The One Show since 2010, Alex Jones is one of the UK’s best-loved presenters.
Alex has fronted several programmes for the BBC such as Shop Well For Less, Let’s Dance For Comic Relief, and the Invictus Games.
She has hosted her own critically acclaimed documentary, Alex Jones – Fertility and Me, and was a part of the BBC team that covered the Royal Wedding in 2018.
Alongside her TV work, Alex authored the best-selling baby book, Winging It, based on her own personal experiences and works actively alongside a number of charities.
Alex will help announce the winners at the 38th edition of the Baking Industry Awards, which takes place on Thursday 23 October at the Royal Lancaster in London. The celebratory extravaganza will include a drinks reception, three-course dinner with wine, and awards ceremony.
