British Baker is thrilled to announce The Artisan Collective is returning for 2025.
Sponsored by Craggs & Co, this invite-only event will take place at The Compound in Birmingham on Tuesday 28 January 2025.
Now in its third year, the event will bring together members of the artisan bakery community for an afternoon of great food, networking, live demonstrations, and community learning. Last year’s event included a sourdough masterclass from Wayne Caddy, discussions on ‘how to find your bakery tribe’, delivering an impactful in-store experience, and making equipment work for you.
Attendees were invited to bring along some of their delicious baked goods to spark discussions and share with others – an activity which will be repeated for the 2025 event.
The day will also see the Bakers’ Dozen 2025 revealed. The Bakers’ Dozen is a list of the top 13 artisan bakeries in Britain as voted for by the baking community.
Cumbria-based Lovingly Artisan has claimed the number one position for the past two years with Bread Source in Norfolk, Northern Rye from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Eastbourne’s Poppyseed Bakery, and The Street Bakeshop in Basingstoke among those also making the list.
“We are so excited for The Artisan Collective 2025,” said British Baker editor Amy North. “Bakers always tell me that thanks to the atmosphere and community spirit on the day they leave feeling inspired and motivated, with a host of great ideas to take back to their businesses.”
British Baker will be revealing more information nearer to the time but, in the meantime, if you work for an artisan bakery and are interested in attending then please fill out this form.
