Italian company Caffeina has opened its first site in London.
Located on Byward Hill near Tower Hill Station, Tower Hamlets, the outlet serves a range of Venetian coffee, as well as a variety of sweet and savoury bakery items.
The company is headed by Aulo Auletta, chief executive, and Andrea Dolciotti, chef-sommelier-architect and catering consultant.
It already operates two coffee shops in Rome.

And, with room for up to 20 diners, we’re a place where you can stop by for a drink and chat, meet up with friends and sample some truly delicious, inspirational food.”
Sweet bakery items include croissants, pain au chocolat, muffins, chocolate brownie cake, carrot cake, and chocolate pear pie.
Baguette flavours include: mozzarella cheese with rocket, basil and salad; Taleggio cheese, Speck, Indivia salad and walnut; Philadelphia, ham and rocket; zucchini, aubergine and tomatoes; and turkey roast, tuna sauce and lettuce.
