The Cheetos cookie – a cross between a Cheetos crisp and a biscuit – is making news Stateside for Cookie Good Bakery in California.
The bakery, based in Santa Monica, has combined the popular cheese crisp with cheddar powder and sugar cookie dough.
Once baked, the cookies get rolled in ‘Cheetos dust’ according to bakery co-founder Ross Canter, which gives them the famous orange Cheetos crumb.
Canter said he came up with the idea while lying in bed thinking about crushed candy canes – as you do.
We also think that, in the spirit of the Cronut and the Brookie, these should be called Cheekies or Chookies. Just a thought…
