From January, Mayfair’s Brown’s Hotel will offer a healthy alternative to traditional afternoon tea with Tea-Tox.

Brown’s, which claims to be London’s oldest hotel, is internationally known for its afternoon tea offerings. Tea-Tox will be run in partnership with nutritional health coach, yoga teacher and bestselling author Madeleine Shaw and will be exclusive to the hotel.

Inspired by recipes from Shaw’s latest book, Ready Steady Glow, the menu will feature both savoury and sweet guilt-free creations, with a Champagne option, to go alongside a choice of teas.

Tea-Tox, which launches 3 January 2017, starts from £55 and includes:

Gluten-free toast with tomatoes, feta and mint
Beetroot crepe with hummus, rocket and avocado
Spinach bread with miso-glazed salmon and radish
Apricot and pistachio cauliflower couscous
Seasonal fruits and nuts with banana & chia seed, honeyed yoghurt and toasted oat dips
Gluten-free raspberry and pistachio brownies
Coconut panna cotta with zesty lemon curd
Raw white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake
Raw lemon and apricot bar
Chocolate-dipped bananas
