Kent-based Speciality Breads has launched a new Pan Rustic Cranberry Roll.
The supplier said cranberries “offer so much to a variety of bread styles – we want to get the nation enjoying the berry throughout the year”.
Hand-shaped, with a rustic floured finish and cranberries “for extra zing, tang and sweetness”, the 100g roll is described as ideal for filling “and spectacular with soups, so far too good to reserve just for Christmas”, according to the company.
Speciality Breads managing director Simon Cannell said: “To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t convinced people would buy this bread outside the festive season, but once I tried it I was completely converted.
“It looks superb and really lifts a regular sandwich into something much more premium. I dare people to try it and not love it!”
