Retail chain Nisa has launched a new range of cake snacks and bites as part of its Heritage own-label range.
The range, which is available for members to order now, consists of six new lines including five-packs of chocolate oaties, caramel shortcakes, flapjack slices, and chocolate brownies. There are also two new 15-pack cartons containing mini flapjack bites, and double chocolate brownie bites.
The cakes are the latest addition to Nisa’s Heritage own-label range, which comprises over 800 SKU’s.
Nisa said the new cakes will aim to help retailers drive additional impulse sales and make the most of “big night occasions”.
Kim Brown, head of fresh, frozen and DTS at Nisa, said the company is “delighted” to launch the “fantastic new additions” to its Heritage range.
“We continuously look for ways to develop our own-label offer further and support our retailers in delivering quality and value to their customers,” Brown said.
“[We] hope they will deliver an uplift in sales and basket spend for our members by catering for consumers shopping on impulse or looking for a tasty snacking or sharing treat, whilst delivering a healthy profit margin for our members.”
The Heritage own-label range is supported by in-store point of sale materials. In April 2017, Irwin’s Bakery secured a listing with Nisa to stock its Howell’s Easter products.
