Paul’s Pies has secured its first supermarket listing in 20 Asda supermarkets.
The pie brand’s steak and Guinness and chicken and mushroom products will be stocked in shops across the south and south west.
The 20 stores include Bristol, Woking, Swindon, Worcester, Andover, Bournemouth and Reading, and it is the brand’s first major supermarket listing.
The pie company was founded by Paul Sykes in 2011, and it makes each product by hand in its kitchen in Coleshill, Oxfordshire.
Sykes said; “I’m over the moon to be working with Asda - seeing the pies on the shelves is a fantastic feeling and makes all of the dedication and hard work more than worth it.”
He said he has plans to grow sales to £1m within the next 18 months.
The company began its business selling pies at Notting Hill Gate farmer’s market, and now makes over 1,000 pies a week.
