Pukka Pies has entered the slice category with Pukka Pockets.

The Pockets range will be trialled in both Asda and Tesco stores.

Eaten either hot or cold, the Pockets are available in chicken and mushroom, all steak and chicken Balti.

Tim Storer, co-managing director, said: “We are very excited about the launch of Pukka Pockets and the feedback from both the retailers and consumers so far has been superb.

“Pukka Pockets are made using exactly the same ingredients as our Pukka Pies and are perfect as part of a meal or eaten on the go.”

Now in its 50th year, in August the brand announced new partnerships with Sheffield United Football Club and Bury Football Club.
