High street sandwich firm Subway has introduced its first ever seasonal sub to its stores – the Festive Feast.
The seasonal sandwich, which contains a variety of meats including turkey and sausage, will be available until 27 December and is priced at £4.00, which includes a drink.
The seasonal sub can also be customised to suit individual tastes, meaning customers can create their own variation of the seasonal treat.
For the first time at Subway’s stores, customers can also add a touch of the festivities by adding the its new cranberry sauce to other subs.
Sacha Clark, marketing director for the Subway brand in the UK and Ireland, believes it has been a long-time coming and is excited to celebrate the season.
“Our first festive sandwich is a deliciously meaty treat that contains all the goodness you’d expect to enjoy at this time of year, in one sub,” she said.
“Subway stores are all about discovery and choice, and people will be able to tailor the Festive Feast to suit their tastes, which sets us apart from the other seasonal sandwiches.”
The sandwich chain will partner with digital music service provider Spotify in a cross-channel advertising campaign, which is part of the brand’s new ‘Keep Discovering’ platform that was launched last year.
In October, Subway launched the Gloves for Subs campaign to keep the elderly and homeless warm during the winter.
