The high street stationers has 17 café outlets nationwide, which are now being rebranded and improved under the name Coffee House.
Originally simply called WH Smith Café, the 17 outlets, all based in hospitals, stations and airports across the UK, will now be called Coffee House, British Baker has learnt.
As part of the re-brand, a source told British Baker that the Coffee House sites will all “be jazzed up”, but there will also be changes to the menu.
The quality of the coffee itself will be reviewed, and the current range of pastries and sandwiches will be extended and improved.
In 2015, SOHO Coffee Co opened its debut site in London, after partnering with WH Smith to open an outlet at Euston Station. This is no longer one of the 17 coffee outlets.
