Pladis extends Go Ahead Goodness Bar range

Pladis-owned snacking brand Go Ahead has added a coconut flavour to its range of Goodness Bars.

Available now, the new 30g variant is priced at £2.29 and comes in a pack of four, joining the company’s cocoa & orange and cocoa & hazelnut flavours.

The new coconut flavour is made from 100% natural ingredients and contains no added sugar, according to the snacking brand.

The launch follows the roll-out of three new ranges, a pack redesign and improved recipes for the core range over the past six months.

“2017 was a pivotal year for Go Ahead to drive reappraisal of the brand. The new products have performed well with consumers and we are excited to launch a flavour we know is really on-trend,” said Pladis UK marketing director for sweet biscuits Kerry Owens.

“We’re committed to modernising the range and providing retailers with snacks that suit their shoppers’ need for products offering great value for money and, most importantly, great taste.”

The brand said it had performed well following the relaunch and aims to drive awareness through media and in-store activity.
