Baked goods supplier St Pierre Groupe has won two awards at the 2019 Insider’s North West International Trade Awards in Manchester.
The business has scooped International Company of the Year (£50m + turnover) for the North West region and International Ambassador for its founder, Paul Baker.
The accolades follow St Pierre recently receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise from the Vice Lord-Lieutenant at its new offices in Didsbury. Now in its 53rd year, this enables winners to use the Queen’s Award emblem for the next five years.
“It is a phenomenal achievement for the St Pierre Groupe team to win not one but two awards at the North West International Trade Awards – in the same week that we received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. It’s the team – both here in Manchester and in America that have made this happen,” said Baker.
The firm has also secured a top 10 place in The Sunday Times International Track 200 for the third consecutive year.
“We work together seamlessly, supporting and driving new thinking, which combined with a bold growth ambition, exciting robust brands and an agile business approach allows our business to succeed so significantly both at home and abroad.”
