Hambleton Bakery has confirmed locations for two new shops, set to open this year.
One will open on 14 March on Church Street, Market Harborough, with another planned for Melton Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, in April.
According to the bakery, the new shops will be stocking the full range of artisan breads, cakes and savouries.
The bakery reported it was nearing the end of a building project aimed at doubling production capacity, following a £500,000 investment at Rutland bakery.
Speaking to British Baker last month about the expansion, Julian Carter, head baker and 2013 Baker of the Year, said: “We outgrew capacity around two years ago. We have the potential to grow, and we have potential customers waiting.”
