Gail’s Artisan Bakery, the London-based company, has produced a special biscuit to celebrate Orchid Festival at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
The Orchid Shortbreads are made with tahini and will be available until 6 March. They are priced at 90p to take away and £1.10 to eat in, but will only be available at the Barnes, Chiswick, Parsons Green, Fulham Road, Soho Bankside and Notting Hill branches of Gail’s.
In addition, Gail’s will celebrate the exhibition with ornate orchid window wreaths across all stores. It will also offer customers a 25% discount on Kew tickets, and the chance to win a stay at The Grange Strathmore Hotel, South Kensington and a family membership to Kew Gardens.
Kew Gardens holds an orchid festival annually and this year takes Brazil as its theme. The exhibition is located in the Princess of Wales Conservatory and runs from 6 February to 6 March.
