Gradz Bakery is to supply upmarket department store Fortnum & Mason with gluten-free bread, flapjacks and brownies.
Gradz was set up by master baker Romuald Damaz and partner Agnes Gabriel-Damaz, who found some family recipes in the attic that had been hand-written by her great grandfather. These recipes have been adapted to appeal to a more modern taste and are used by Gradz today.
Now, the business has been chosen to supply a selection of its products to Fortnum & Mason.
Its gluten-free dark bread with seeds and gluten-free dark bread with sunflower seeds will both be available from the Fortnum & Mason bakery, while flapjacks and brownies will be sold in the cafés.
“We are absolutely delighted to be chosen as the gluten-free bread supplier for Fortnum & Mason and to see our delicious brownies and flapjacks in the café,” said Agnes Gabriel-Damaz.
“It is a unique store and perfect for our unique range of gluten free products!”
