Krispy Kreme has launched a mini version of its iconic Original Glazed doughnuts.
Called Doughnut Bites, they’re made from the same recipe as the original doughnuts and are described as “perfect for gifting, sharing, or enjoying on the go”. They landed in Krispy Kreme stores yesterday (26 February) and are available in boxes of eight for £3.95 until 8 April.
And, consumers will be able to get warm OG bites as part of ‘Hot-Bite hour’ at factory stores each weekend from 1-2pm.
Canadian bakery business Tim Hortons, which made its UK debut in May last year, also offers customers mini versions of its doughnuts called Timbits. The bite-size doughnuts are available in ten different flavours including Apple Fritter, Chocolate Glazed, Lemon and Raspberry.
Krispy Kreme currently operates 105 stores in the UK, with further expansion planned for the future. Last year, it celebrated the opening of its 100th UK store in Nottingham.
