Konditor is marking summer with the launch of two limited-edition cakes, including a vegan product.
Both will be sold for one month only through Konditor’s six stores and online, and will be available by the slice or in three different sizes.
The first, available this month, is a Strawberry Lemon Cake comprising a lemon sponge, soaked with lemon syrup, filled with strawberry compote and finished with smooth strawberry frosting and a crown of meringue kisses.
Available in August is a Vegan Pineapple Pecan Cake. This is a lightly spiced vegan banana and pineapple sponge, studded with toasted pecans and covered in pineapple frosting, topped off with pineapple flowers.
It has been a busy few months for the London-based business, which recently rebranded from Konditor & Cook to mark its 25th year of trading and its cake-making heritage.
In addition to opening its sixth site, in London’s Bank, the company has also launched its first range of wedding cakes.
