Lotus Biscoff has launched a ‘Crumble’ version of its biscuit for use as a cake base or topping.
Available in 750g catering packs, the Lotus Biscoff Crumble (pictured below) comprises Lotus Biscoff crumb particles, which the company claims make the “ideal base” for cheesecakes, rocky roads or as toppings for cakes, apple and cinnamon pies.
“The Lotus Biscoff Crumble is a great way for caterers to create additional interest with customers in their dessert offering, by introducing and highlighting the Lotus Biscoff brand on their menus,” said Frances Booth, category marketing manager at Lotus Bakeries.
“As it is such a much-loved brand, both out of and within the home, including the brand on the dessert description will provide a further opportunity for additional sales.”
The firm has confirmed that the Crumble range will be part of its new packaging, which also features its biscuit and its tiramisu line.
The brand is stocked by major wholesalers as well as specialist coffee distributors across the country.
