Burton’s Biscuits will introduce Cadbury Cookies this month, the first premium biscuit range from the chocolate producer.
Due to hit the shelves at the end of April, with initial listings in Waitrose and Ocado, the cookies will be available in Salted Caramel Brownie and Mocha Choc Chunk varieties, and will be available in packs of eight, with an RRP of £1.99.
Earlier this year, Burton’s also announced it would launch Choc Dipped and Soft Centre biscuits for its new Maryland Creations range this month.
The launches follow Burton’s recent overhaul of its Jammie Dodgers, which it updated with a crisper biscuit and fruitier jam.
Last month, the company also announced the loss of Ian Deste, its managing director for UK & Ireland, after just five months in the role.
Burton’s is also currently in talks to buy Fox’s Biscuits from 2 Sisters.
