Foodservice supplier Coup de Pates has launched Sourdough Bread Sheets into the UK foodservice market.
The new Sourdough Bread Sheets are supplied frozen and come in white and rye variants. Coup de Pates said in a statement: “They make it easy to produce bespoke speciality breads in shapes, sizes and varieties.”
The sheets need to be defrosted, cut, shaped, topped with your chosen ingredients, proved and baked.
Warren Wells, commercial director at Aryzta Food Solutions UK, parent company of Coup de Pates, said: “Innovation is a word often used to describe new products, but these bread sheets really do hit the mark. Just one box of product gives caterers hundreds of options, opening up potential new revenue streams into the bargain and cutting wastage.
The white and rye sourdough sheets come in 1,400g units (five per case) and hold for 72 hours in their sleeves after defrosting.
Last month Coup de Pates announced that Fabrice Prochasson has joined the company as its new director of creation and innovation.
