Garth Bakery in South Wales has recalled its chocolate sponge cake because it contains soya, which is not mentioned on the labelling.
The chocolate sponge cake poses a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya, and Garth has recalled it as a result. The affected packets have a best before date of 13 June.
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to soya, the advice is not to eat it, and return it to the store from where you bought it.
Garth Bakery operates a distribution coverage of the South Wales area. It delivers to Tesco, Asda, The Cooperative, Costco, Makro, Spar shops and “hundreds of shops in the convenience sector”.
