Sales up for Costa
Costa Coffee’s sales increased 25.6% to £123.2 million according to parent company Whitbread’s interim results for the six months to 28 August 2008. Total profit was up 10.6% to £7.3 million year-on-year. Like-for-like sales growth has slowed, up 3.7% compared to 6.8% last year.
