Sussex-based Turner’s Pies has launched a campaign to collect toys for poorly children in the run-up to Christmas.
The business said it hoped the activity, launched in partnership with Love Your Hospital, would help spread some Christmas joy and bring some cheer to children spending the holiday on a hospital ward.
Toys and gifts can be donated via crates at Turner’s Pies stores in Worthing, Chichester, Bognor Regis and Rustington. They will be given to the children on the Bluefin Children’s Ward in Worthing Hospital.
“Our customers are lovely people and we know they want to support us in helping with Love Your Hospital and all the tremendous work they do,” said Phil Turner, managing director of Turner’s Pies.
“We’re looking forward to a successful toy-collecting spell!”
