Hilton Macarons has created three new product lines amidst a transfer of production across Suffolk and into the premises of new owner Two Magpies Bakery.

The sweet treat brand was acquired last October by the East Anglian chain, which is now supplying its 11 cafes and shops from its new 11,000 sq ft central bakery in nearby Walpole. Hilton Macarons is shifting from a site in Framingham to assume production in Darsham, where Two Magpies still operates a cafe.

Adding to Hilton’s ranges of premium macarons – handmade with Italian meringue and filled with ‘delicate flavours’ – are The Spring Selection, Caramel Indulgence, and The Chocolate Box. These are priced at £13 for a box of six, £21 for a dozen, and £29 for 18.

The limited-edition Spring Selection had already been unveiled for Mother’s Day, featuring flavours inspired by florals and botanicals plus a light colour palette to reflect the season.

The new Caramel Indulgence range (from £13 for a box of six) has flavours including Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate Caramel, Caramel Buttercream, Toffee Popcorn, Caramel Chai, and Salted Almond Caramel Brownie. The latter flavour is based on the Two Magpie’s brownie which was named Britain’s Best Cake 2024.

Lastly, The Chocolate Box is packed with six indulgent chocolate flavours: Turkish Delight, Dark Chocolate Espresso, Neapolitan, Caramelised White Chocolate, Millionaires, and Black Forest.

Handwritten messages on gold-embossed gift cards can be added for a £1.50 surcharge, with boxes available for next-day delivery nationwide. All macarons are gluten free and suitable for vegetarians.

“Since Hilton Macarons joined the Two Magpies family we have really focused efforts on new product development and growing the brand,” commented owner and CEO Steve Magnall. “Hilton Macarons already had a loyal customer base nationwide, but we knew there was potential to increase this further by creating new flavours and products. We are really excited by the new gift boxes and hope customers will enjoy them.”

Magnall also noted that Hilton’s relocation to Two Magpies’ Darsham bakery would mean the two brands could work in complete synergy. “It has been a very busy year so far for Hilton Macarons. The move allows us to bring Two Magpies and Hilton Macarons all under one roof. We are confident in the expansion of the brand and being able to attract new customers with our exciting new flavours,” he added.
