Liverpool-based plant bakery firm Coulton’s Quayside has relaunched its Happy Bread range of products.

The revived range of thick- and medium-sliced white loaves will launch across Yorkshire in April, featuring new branding and a Happy Bread character, which the company plans to bring to life in future marketing activity.

Howard Hunter, managing director of Coulton’s Quayside, said: “Happy Bread has become quite iconic across Yorkshire and this relaunch aims to build on people’s affection for the brand. We feel that the range provides a strong commercial offering to retailers and, for this reason, we expect to see Happy Bread expand across the UK over the coming year.”

Coulton’s acquired the bread brand back in 2007. It was originally launched 20 years ago.
