Doughnut Time has revealed the locations of three new stores in London, with one in Shoreditch opening last Friday (15 December).
To celebrate the opening, the brand offered two free hours of doughnuts between 12:30pm and 2:30pm, including the exclusive Stout Out to Shoreditch. This stout-glazed doughnut is topped with chocolate cake pieces and finished with gold-dusted mocha beans and a coffee glaze drizzle.
And, £1 from every stout doughnut sold between 16 and 31 December will go to East London charity Step Forward, which offers support to young people struggling with poverty in Tower Hamlets.
Early next year Doughnut Time will also open stores in Notting Hill and London City Airport, as well as a Doughnut Academy at its flagship Shaftesbury Avenue store, which opened in October. The Academy will offer visitors the opportunity to customise their own doughnuts.
“We have been overwhelmed by the UK’s response to Doughnut Time opening in London,” said Doughnut Time founder Damian Griffiths. “Since the endless queues on the first day of Shaftesbury Avenue’s store opening, we have received so much doughnut love from Londoners and beyond and are thrilled to be opening more exciting locations.”
