The Gail’s Artisan Bakery team is set to open its new bakery site in Clapham Old Town this month.
On 28 August, the bakery will open its 22nd shop, selling breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and light supper and breads.
Tom Molnar, co-founder of Gail’s said: “We’ve wanted to be in Clapham Old Town for quite some time, so we’re really excited to have found such a brilliant site. The new bakery reflects the lovely village feel of Old Town and we look forward to sharing Gail’s handmade bread with our new neighbours.”
The company said the interior of Gail’s Old Town was utilitarian in style, designed around the ‘processes of bread-making, incorporating the use of authentic, natural materials such as wood and concrete parquet tiles, with a focal point of the open kitchen’.
Gail’s Artisan Bakery was first set up in 2005, when the founders opened their first bakery in Hampstead.
