Sourdough pizza brand Pizza Punks has announced it will add to its portfolio of restaurants with a new opening in Leicester in March 2022.

Based in the Highcross area of the city, the new branch will join Pizza Punks’ other UK restaurants in Glasgow, Belfast, Newcastle and Leeds.

“Pizza Punks Leicester will be our fifth site in the UK, and we can’t wait to share the Pizza Punks experience with the city,” said Brad Stevens, Pizza Punks founder.

“At Pizza Punks we do things differently, and our customers have the freedom to make the experience their own – they can punk up their pizza or pasta with unlimited toppings for no extra charge,” he added.

The 120-cover restaurant in Leicester will feature a “stripped-back aesthetic” with neon lights, monochrome brick tiles and artwork, the company said.

“We want families and friends to visit and have the best time,” Stevens said. “For us, it is about providing excellent quality ingredients, unrivalled levels of customer service and most importantly, having fun; we want our guests to enjoy some great food, drinks and
