Campden BRI and the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) will be hosting a conference to look at ways of improving manufacturing efficiency in the food and drink sector.
The ‘Improving efficiency in food manufacturing’ conference will be held at he independent food research firm’s Chipping Campden site in Gloucestershire on 18 October. It aims to bring together equipment manufacturers and suppliers within the food industry to address issues and find solutions around production and manufacturing.
It will feature presentations from a number of keynote speakers including Tom Crawford who previously worked as a project manager at Ginsters for 10 years, the PPMA’s director Charles Lee, and Mike Wilson, chairman of the British Automation and Robot Association.
Topics of discussion will include:
– Challenges and opportunities
– Hygienic design
– Automation and robotics
– Lean manufacturing
