French bakery manufacturer Bridor has launched a range of Viennese pastries called Confettis.

They are made with crispy flaky pastry, containing butter and barn eggs, and are available in four flavours and two formats – a 90g maxi and 30g mini.

The maxi Confettis are available in Praline Chocolate, which features almond and hazelnut praline covered in chocolate chips; and Apricot Almond, which has a melting apricot centre topped with chopped almonds.

The mini Confettis are available in the Praline Chocolate variant, as well as Strawberry Almond.

Bridor said the mini Confettis were ideal for retail and foodservice environments and were “perfect for adding a small, portion-controlled indulgence to a breakfast buffet or seminar break”.

It said the maxi Confettis met demand in the out-of-home breakfast market, suggesting the product would be a “tasty and filling” start to the day, as well as serving as an “indulgent daytime snack or dessert on the go”.

Supplied frozen, the Confettis require defrosting for 30-45 minutes before oven baking at 165-170°C for 11-12 minutes. The product is packaged in units of 150 pieces per box and 80 boxes per pallet with a shelf life of nine months.
