Warburtons has launched a new range of half-white and half-wholemeal breads.
Its Half White Half Wholemeal range includes Medium and Thick loaves, as well as Thins and Rolls.
Made with a blend of half-white and half-wholemeal flour, the products are high in fibre.
The 800g Medium loaf and Thick loaf is selling for an rsp of £1.50, Sandwich Thins for £1.31 and Rolls for £1.19.
The new products offer additional vitamin D and calcium for a healthy immune system and strong teeth and bones, said the company.
“The Half White Half Wholemeal range not only provides a great way of getting more fibre into the diet, but also makes it easy for busy families to get a third of their daily intake,” said Darren Littler, innovation director at Warburtons.
“Vitamin D and calcium are important to ensure a healthy immune system and strong teeth and bones.”
Two slices of bread, one thin or one roll will provide consumers with a third of their RDA (recommended daily allowance) of Vitamin D and calcium, it added.
The loaves are available in major retailers across the UK, followed by Thins and Rolls from 7 September.
