London cake shop Konditor has launched its first range of off-shelf wedding cakes.
The cakes can be ordered with a seven-day lead time through Konditor’s online ordering system, by visiting a store or over the phone.
They range from plain and classically styled with a traditional frosted finish through to modern ombre cakes and decorative roses or dot styles. They are available in four flavours – chocolate, vanilla, lemon or noisette – and comprise layers of Konditor’s wheat-free hazelnut and dark chocolate sponge.
The cakes are available in a variety of sizes from 4-inch to 13-inch and are priced from £140.
“We’ve been making bespoke wedding cakes for over 25 years – so it’s so exciting to now be able to offer our customer an off-shelf collection that we know will spread joy through cake,” said Gerhard Jenne, founder of Konditor.
The launch follows Konditor’s rebrand earlier this month, which it said would help it focus on its cake heritage.
