Members of the Richemont Club (Great Britain) descended on Renshaw in Liverpool last week for a tour around the factory and to see live demonstrations at its test bakery. About 40 members and guests of the Richemont Club attended the event on 28 February.
The first demonstration was given by Renshaw’s Claire Bailey and Nicola Hemming, which was followed by a sugar paste modelling demonstration by Karen Bowden from Slattery Patissier and Chocolatier. She won Celebration Cake Maker of the Year in 2006 at British Baker’s 19th Baking Industry Awards, a category sponsored by Renshaw.
Trevor Mooney, president of the Richemont Club of Great Britain, thanked Renshaw for its hospitality and praised the skill shown by the three demonstrators during the afternoon.
