European bakery brand Cinnamood is set to make its UK retail debut later this year.

The cinnamon roll specialist, which was founded in Cologne in 2022, has appointed London-based Seeds Consulting to lead its franchise expansion in both the UK and France. It has already secured a multi-site franchise partner for the UK, with the first location set to open in Camden Town, North London in Q2 2026, followed by a second site at Westfield London.

Cinnamood is targeting major metropolitan areas including London, Manchester, and Birmingham, as well as Paris, Lyon and Marseille in France, with opportunities available for both single-unit and multi-unit development agreements. Seeds Consulting will be responsible for identifying and securing high-quality franchise partners across both markets, with a focus on experienced multi-unit operators and regional developers capable of delivering structured, long-term growth.

“Partnering with Seeds Consulting marks an important milestone in our international journey,” said Santiago Hernández Acevedo, chief business officer at Cinnamood. “The UK and France are strategically significant markets for us, and we believe Seeds’ expertise in franchise development and market entry will help us find the right partners to build a strong and sustainable presence.”

Seeds Consulting has built a reputation for successfully introducing premium international concepts to the UK and European markets, working closely with brands such as Which Wich Superior Sandwiches.

Cinnamood currently has 56 stores across 12 countries including in Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, UAE, Romania, Portugal, and Spain. All but one – its recently opened flagship store in the vibrant El Born district of Barcelona – are franchises with some operators handling as many as nine sites. Last week, the brand unveiled a first Irish location on O’Connell Street in Dublin.

With its handcrafted cinnamon rolls, creative flavour innovation, and visually striking store design, Cinnamood said it has captured significant demand among modern consumers seeking premium yet accessible treats, combining indulgent bakery products with a distinctive lifestyle-driven brand experience.

Along with the classic cinnamon, other roll flavours available on its menu include red velvet, blueberry, apple, salted caramel, Raffaella (coconut cream), and carrot cake. It also has a ‘Most Wanted’ range of rolls featuring Pecan Maple, Tiramisu, Bueno, Oreo, Speculoos, Cookie Dough, Pistachio, White Chocolate Raspberry, White Choc Macademia, and Dubai Dream varieties. Hot or cold drinks are sold at stores too, including a selection of coffees, smoothies, and matcha options.
