Warburtons has relaunched its range of price marked packs (PMPs) on a selection of baked goods sold through the convenience channel.
The refreshed range features three of Warburtons bestselling products: Half White Half Wholemeal loaves (PMP £1.15), Wholemeal loaves (PMP £1.15) and 6-pack Crumpets (PMP 99p).
The business said PMPs help to reassure consumers that they are getting value for money, which it added was particularly important when shopping in convenience stores. The move also supports retailers’ sales by encouraging impulse purchases, Warburtons added.
Over the last few months, Warburtons said it has been reviewing its price-marked products to ensure the optimum range of products were being offered to help convenience stores grow their bakery range through PMPs.
“We are fully committed to supporting our convenience and independent customers across the country, and we know that PMP products are valued by convenience shoppers,” said Laura Herbert, strategic lead – convenience channel at Warburtons.
“We want to ensure that we are offering the best range that we can to support our retail partners and are pleased to have introduced our revised PMP offering.”
