Pork Farms Group, the chilled food producer, has rebranded as Addo Food Group, following the acquisition of the chilled savoury pastry business Kerry Foods.
The new corporate name for the group is being launched with new signage across the Addo estate. The rebrand will also see its site in Nottingham renamed as Tottle Bakery and its Shaftesbury site rebranded to Dorset Foods.
Chris Peters, group managing director of Addo Food Group, said: “With the recent addition of new sites and brands following our acquisition of Kerry’s chilled savoury pastry business, we wanted a new group name to represent our identity as a forward thinking and innovative food company, and to allow us to demonstrate our new breadth of products and brands."
Addo’s current sales revenues are £270m and the company has a market share of 34% (Kantar Worldpanel 52 weeks ending June 21, 2015). Addo sells 256m products every year under both its own brands and the brands of its major retail partners.
The group is made up of six Addo business units: Dorset Foods, Riverside Bakery, Palethorpes Bakery, Poole Bakery, Tottle Bakery and Spalding Bakery.
