Birds Eye is jumping on the sourdough bandwagon with the launch of bakery-inspired artisan fish fillet products with bread and seed crusts.
The three-strong Artisan Style range of breaded fish fillets comprises German Pretzel crumb with sea salt, Sourdough breadcrumb with spelt seeds, and Wholemeal breadcrumb with seeds and grains.
Birds Eye said the coatings add extra refinement to meal times and the use of different breads and seeds adds taste and texture to the fillets.
They will be available in Morrisons from 7 October and Sainsbury’s from 27 October with an rsp of £3 for a pack of two fish fillets.
