More? The Artisan Bakery has been awarded the title of Speciality Producer of the Year at this year’s Great Taste Awards.
Owner and founder Patrick Moore collected the award on behalf of his team at this year’s star-studded awards ceremony held on 9 September at the Awards’ Dinner at the Royal Gardens Hotel, London.
Since the bakery first entered the Great Taste Awards in 2008, it has amassed over 50 gold stars. In 2009, its Gluten Free Muddee was crowned overall Fortnum & Mason Supreme Champion. More recently, the bakery attained three gold star awards for both of its Lakeland Treacle Breads, currently being sold in Harrods Food Hall.
The artisan bakery also won two gold stars this year for its Wild English White Sourdough and Monty’s Revenge Bloomer: Montgomery cheddar and whole garlic cloves wrapped in a sourdough.
Speaking about the success, Moore said that the bakery’s success was down to the “remarkable skills and dedication of his team”.
Award sponsor and Royal Food Grocer, Partridges, proclaimed More? The Artisan Bakery as one of a few “bread legends”.
