Coffee shop chain Caffè Latte plans to add 20 sites during 2014.

Another site has just opened at the Onyx Retail Park in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The company was founded in 2008, with the first franchise opening in May 2012 in Ramsgate, Kent.

As reported by M&C Report, the last 18 months have seen six new openings and the brand is now represented in Essex, Swansea and East and West Sussex, with shops coming soon in Leicester and Bingham, North Yorkshire.

The brand serves homemade food and cakes, with ingredients sourced through local businesses. Menus are tailored for each store, with gluten-free products available across the board.

Innovative summer drinks on offer include a pineapple and coconut smoothie; raspberry and white chocolate milkshake and a chocolate orange mocha frappe at some sites.

An app is also in development to help customers find their nearest outlet.
