Warrens Bakery unveils the Sunday roast in a pasty

Warrens Bakery has launched two pasties based on the traditional roast dinners. 

The roast beef & horseradish and roast chicken with sage stuffing pasties feature seasonal British vegetables and cost £3.40. They can be accompanied by crispy roast potatoes, available from Warrens at £1 a portion.

“As the Sunday roast is also such an integral and well-loved dish, which is a huge part of Great Britain’s national identity, we felt it was high time it was given a Warrens Bakery twist,” said Warrens Bakery master baker Jason Jobling.

“We are really pleased to be able to share our hand-crimped new arrivals and have worked hard to ensure they taste just as good as your home cooked roast.”

They will be available in selected Warrens Bakery stores across the UK. The business has more than 50 sites in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Birmingham and Hampshire and is expanding rapidly with the most recent opening in Winchester in September.

The new pasties hit the market just a few months after Warrens revealed a vegan pasty range, which includes a vegan Original Cornish Pasty, a Vegan Green Thai and Vegan Fiery Mexican.
