A French pastry chef is to open her first bakery shop in London in June.
Lila Sarhang Zadeh will open her bakery, named Halva, on Fulham Road, London, to offer breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
Zadeh trained as a pastry chef in France, and has now decided to open the premises.
The bakery will sell bread baked fresh on the site, including loaves made with chia seeds and flax seeds, as well as honey sourdoughs.
The bakers will also create croissants, pains au chocolat, fresh banana pains and apple turnovers on site.
The bakery is designed to be ‘light and airy’ and will provide eat-in or takeaway services.
Halva is expected to open early next month.
