Joe & The Juice is to continue expanding its UK estate in the new year after opening 16 new shops in 2025.
The Danish juice, coffee and sandwich brand unveiled four new stores during a six-week burst across November and December, including its first locations in Cambridge followed by sites in Bath and in Windsor.
Joe & The Juice has increased its UK estate by almost a third over the past two years, going from 68 stores at the end of 2023 to its current total of 89. It said the Q4 openings mark the beginning of a larger-scale roll-out planned for 2026, which will see the brand expand into further regional markets, building on strong performance and a growing national customer base.
Expansion is being driven by rapidly increasing demand for its freshly prepared juices, shakes, coffee, and signature sandwiches made with fibre-rich rye flatbread. The company noted that its range aligned closely with the latest UK consumer trends including prioritising fresh, high-quality convenience-led food & drink options that support wellbeing. It previously announced a global pledge to use only cage-free eggs and egg ingredients in its supply chain.
The panini-style toasted sandwiches feature filling choices such as steak, chicken, avocado, spicy tuna, and turkey. All come with vegan pesto and tomato among other inclusions, and are served in recycled paper for on-the-go convenience. A festive sandwich inspired by Boxing Day turkey leftovers was created for the Christmas 2025 season.

Joe & The Juice is also strengthening its presence in Manchester having recently opened an outlet at the Trafford Centre, with another on Mosley Street set for a February 2026 launch. These follow a new site at Manchester Airport and a flagship store at Manchester Cross Street, adjacent to the Arndale shopping centre, unveiled earlier this year.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2002, the brand has grown to operate more than 450 locations across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Africa. It revealed a strategy to expand to more than 1,000 branches globally in the next five years.
“The response from UK customers this year has been incredible,” commented Jon James, Joe & The Juice’s UK managing director. “Each new store we’ve opened has outperformed expectations, which gives us huge confidence as we accelerate our stores into new regions.
“The UK continues to be one of our most exciting growth markets and we’re looking forward to expanding our reach, this year and next,” added James.
