Foodservice equipment supplier Signature FSE is expanding its portfolio with the brand-new Multi-Dough Roller from French manufacturer De Buyer.

The compact-sized multi-roller is said to have been created specifically for catering professionals to withstand daily use in high-performance, demanding workspaces. Its easy-to-use wheel adjustment settings offer customisable thicknesses between 0.3mm and 15mm to suit every pastry chef’s creative style and preferences.

An open structure and double ramp ensures a smooth, consistent, and ergonomic experience for even the most delicate doughs – from puff pastry and pizza and sugar paste to fresh pasta. Described as a robust and durable tool, it has built-in stabilisation bars to reinforce its sturdy structure crafted with premium stainless steel at De Buyer’s factory in Le Val-d’Ajol near Strasbourg.

Kent-based Signature FSE is the master distributor for De Buyer’s range of bakeware and cookware in the UK. It said that when it comes to crafting excellence one size never fits all, but with the increased demand for quality combined with limited time for chefs, De Buyer has rolled out an all-in-one utensil for bakers and cooks that helps overcome both staff and skill shortages. All the way from first course to the dessert menu, the Multi-Dough Roller is the must-have multi-application tool for all bakery-focused kitchens, added the supplier.

The new equipment will be launched in the UK next month.

Signature FSE’s managing director Paula Sherlock noted the “incredibly positive” feedback from professional chefs in France. “There’s been high praise for how light, compact, and easy to use the roller is,” she commented. “We know from speaking with chefs how limiting kitchen space can be, so the flexibility of the product has been really well received.

“Additionally, the roller’s innovative design guarantees seamless dough rolling – without manual reworking of the dough – offering consistency of yield and speeding up production. We’re really excited to bring this versatile and cost-effective solution to professional kitchens across the UK,” added Sherlock.
